We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives. ```Responsibilities```
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals within their community.
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities.
- Monitor and document individual's progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow individualized Person Centered Plan and ensure the safety and well-being of each individual.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive care and community integrated care.
-Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must use own vehicle to transport individual on community outings.
```Skills```
- Strong drive and passion for individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in caregiving or companionship preferred.
- Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
- Familiarity with developmental and intellectual disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
